Waiting is hard, too, I think. To be in-between, for the aching to be not quite relieved, to feel so much of the 'not yet'. So much of me wants one task to be done and dusted and to be moving on to another, to be someone, to do something. But one thing that I take from your entry is that this active waiting might well be our vocation as humans, or at least Christians, and that that is the rule by which we gauge our success.
